I am an environmental epidemiologist, senior investigator at Inserm, the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research and Professor (Pr. attaché) at Ecole Normale Supérieure – PSL (PSL University Paris).
I work at the Institute of Biology of Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris (IBENS), a joint research center from ENS-PSL, Inserm and CNRS, on PARSEC initiative, aiming to develop research on the nexus between climate change and human health.

My main research topics are:
- Climate change and human health
- Management of environmental risks
- Influence of Environmental factors, including the exposome, on human health
- Methodological issues in environmental and reproductive epidemiology
- I also worked on the question of the temporal trends in human fecundity
(See publication list here).
In addition to my research, I had or have various expertise activities, including for the COVARS, for the Scientific Committee of Health, Environmental and Emerging Risks (SCHEER, European Commission), ANSES, Santé Publique France, and now with the Group of Chief Scientific Advisors (GCSA) of the European Commission.
In 2022, I held the Public Health chair at Collège de France, where I lectured about the influence of environmental factors on human health at the Anthropocene era (the lectures are available here).
Formerly, I was affiliated at IAB Grenoble, where I developed and led the team of environmental epidemiology with Valérie Siroux, who is now in charge of the team.
